The Grand Unveiling and Evolv Demo

It's been a full-on week here at the wall, with the grand opening only days away. The route setting is well underway (thanks Slimfast, Tricky and Harry!) with both of the upstairs bouldering areas being fully reset with the new circuit system. 

We're so excited about the new bouldering area, affectionately dubbed The Lounge, that some of us couldn't resist starting to give it a bit of a workout.

Evolv Demo

Just so we can all make the most of the new bouldering area, Cold Mountain Kit have organised for Evolv sponsored climber Mat Birch to come down for the evening. He will be here with bells on and a load of Evolv's technical shoes, offering sound advice and the chance to climb in some of these amazing top of the range models. 

Cold Mountain Kit are now officially an Evolv Performance Specialist! So the shop will be offering an special 10% discount on all Evolv products for the day of the opening and demo.

To top off the night, we'll be finishing up at Clancy's pub (corner Warspite Road and the A202) to combine the tried and true combo of climbing and beer. 

Seriously, Thursday nights don't come any better than this.
